What is Kids Cutouts?
Kids Cutouts was created to help customers make fun, creatively designed spaces easily and cohesively. We’ve thought through our layouts and focused our designs around specific themes so that you end up with a uniquely designed space that creates an experience all its own.

What's the Kids Cutouts Story?
The idea was initially conceived when Michael, the founder, had his first child. He was looking for cloud decorations to decorate his new baby boys room with. He couldn’t find exactly what he wanted so he created it. He then was given an opportunity to design a children’s play room at Love Field that incorporated the clouds around an aviation theme. The room was such a hit that he finally decided to expand the collection that had been created to include other themes.

The result was Kids Cutouts. Professionally designed and creatively inspired themes that kids and adults of any age love. The style is simple, tasteful and thought has gone into creating the elements that make up the each, unique theme.

What are Kids Cutouts Make of?
Our Wall Graphic is made of a low-tack adhesive vinyl. Unlike a regular sticker – it will not leave any adhesive residue behind when removed. Wall Graphics are perfectly suited for smooth, non-textured surfaces such as walls, desks, laptops and glass. This material can be removed and re-applied many times. Your Wall Graphics will have one printed surface with a paper backing.

What is the Best Way to Install Kids Cutouts?

Step 1: Prep
Choose a location. Kids Cutouts wall decals adhere best to smooth, indoor surfaces.

Recommended Surfaces:
Smooth Walls
Painted Drywall
Glass
Metal
Smooth Wood
Inside, temperature controlled environments

Not Recommended:
Freshly painted walls. It is recommended to wait for paint to completely cure before putting up Kids Cutouts Decals.
Textured Walls
Unpainted drywall
Brick
Cinder Block
Porous, textured paneling
Outside, non-temperature controlled environments

Kids Cutouts decals like clean walls. Use a warm damp cloth to wipe down the surface and let it dry completely. Do not use soap or chemicals. They can affect the adhesive on your wall decals.

Step 2: Let Loose
Remove your Kids Cutouts Decals from the packaging. Flatten out your Kids Cutouts decals by laying them flat for at least one hour prior to application.

Step 3: Get to Work
There are two solid methods for adhering them to the wall.

  1. Remove the entire decal from the paper backing and place on the wall as desired or per the product image from the site. Apply pressure to the decals on the wall with your hand or better yet, some sort of a roller if you have one. Putting up larger Kids Cutouts is much easier with two people.
  2. Cut the decal out with the paper backing still attached. Keep about 1-2 inches of paper backing if possible. Peel off a little bit of the decal from the paper backing (3-8 inches worth) and apply to the surface you are installing. Slowly begin pulling off the paper backing while putting pressure on the decal against the surface. A dry clean cloth is ideal for this kind of application.

If you have a slightly textured wall you may experience some curling of edges. This is normal since the surface you are applying to is uneven. You can try using a blow dryer to heat up the vinyl and then applying pressure.

Step 4: Enjoy!

You now have a fun, space that you created in no time. With a little help from our professional designers of course. If you love it tell your friends and like/follow our FB and Pinterest Pages.
